Nettie Mcfarlin Chastain

Mrs. Nettie McFarlin Chastain, age 100, formerly of North Main Street, died Saturday Afternoon in Riverside Nursing Center. Funeral Services will be held Monday Aftenroon at 2 o'clock in the East Thomaston Baptist Church. Rev. Joey Smith and Dr. Rex King will officiate. Interment will be in South View Cemetery, with Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Chastain was a native of Upson county. She was employed at Charles Kass Co. Ladies Store and was a member of East Thomaston Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis W. Chastain, and her daughter, Joan Chastain Smith. Mrs. Chastain is survived by: 2 sons - Mr. Jerry W. (Juanita) Chastain and Mr. Tony F. (Diane) Chastain, both of Thomaston; Son-In-Law - Mr. Jack Smith, of Thomaston; Nephew - Mr. Bob Smith, of Thomson GA; 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild, and many other nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Contributions may be made to East Thomaston Baptist Church.
