Mrs. Janice Smith Hannah

Mrs. Janice Smith Hannah, 71, of Thomaston, Georgia, died April 18, 2023, at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Hannah will be held Friday, April 21, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Pastor Jereme Chaney officiating. Interment will follow at Upson Memorial Gardens in Thomaston. The family will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home in Thomaston, on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Hannah was born in Thomaston on April 12, 1952, to the late Henrry Gordon Smith and the late Louise Lucas Smith. She was a 1972 graduate of R.E. Lee Institute and was employed by B. F. Goodrich, William Carter Co., and most recently with Wal-Mart. as a cashier.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Hannah of Thomaston; two daughters, Mrs. Stacey (Gary) Adams and Ms. Beth Speelman, both of Thomaston; a brother Mr. Winston Smith, of Thomaston; a sister-in-law, Ms. Annette Smith, also of Thomaston; and 2 granddaughters Hannah and Lillie Speelman.
