Mr. Cecil Mckenzie "Mac" Daniel

Mr. Cecil McKenzie 'Mac' Daniel age 74, of Thomaston, died Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Daniel will be held on Wednesday, August 17th, 2016 at 2 pm in the Emory's Chapel Church Cemetery with Rev. Buddy Wall officiating. The family of Mr. Daniel will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:30 until 1:30 pm. Mr. Daniel was a native and life-long resident of Thomaston. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was employed as a loom-fixer by Thomaston Mills for 38 years until his retirement. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Daniel is survived by his daughter, Joy Farmer of Thomaston; his son and daughter-in-law, Dana and Johnnie Ann Daniel of Thomaston; a sister, Ethyl Pitts of Barnesville; sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
