Kenneth Wayne Ellington

Mr. Kenneth Wayne Ellington, age 43, of 2538 Hendricks Church Road, died at his residence, on Monday, September 20, 2010. Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 23, 2010, at 4:00 PM, in the Chapel of the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home. Mr. Ken Kelly officiated. Mr. Ellington, a native of Upson County, was employed at M F and H Textile in Butler, GA.. He attended Fellowship Baptist Church. Mr. Ellington was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Henderson Ellington, Sr., mother, Betty Turner Ellington, and brother, Lawrence Henderson Ellington, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Wendy Mooney Ellington; two daughters, Karen (Brian) Gresham and Kacie Ellington; a sister, Jennifer Ellington; two brothers, Gary Lee (Pam) Ellington and Billie Joe Ellington; and his grandchildren, Christopher Tyler 'McNoodle' Gresham and Kaylan Alyssa 'Lucy' Gresham, all of Thomaston. An aunt, Martha (Ralph) Barfield and several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial contributions may be made to Canoeing for Missions,, c/o Bethel Church, 1516 Thomaston Hwy, Butler , GA 31006.
