Joyce Burson Thompson

Mrs. Joyce Burson Thompson, died January 15, 2010. Mrs. Thompson was born December 1, 1922, in Thomaston, Georgia. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, J. B. (‘’Tommy’’)Thompson. Mrs. Thompson partnered with her husband in developing and operating Thompson Construction Company, a well-respected general contractor in Atlanta, Georgia for forty years. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her son, Robert Thompson (Louise Bedrossian), of Decatur, Georgia.
