Jonathan L. Griggers

Mr. Jonathan L. Griggers, age 66, of Smyrna, died July 25, 2016, at his residence. A memorial service will be held by his family in Florida at a later date. Mr. Griggers, a son of the late A. B. Griggers, Jr. and Mary Hancock Griggers, was born October 19, 1949, in Thomaston. He was a 1967 graduate of R. E. Lee Institute and was retired from the Georgia Department of Human Resources where he was a Fiscal Contracts Administrator. Mr. Griggers was a member of the Roswell Street Baptist Church in Roswell, GA. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Andy and Cindy Griggers of Ormand Beach, FL and cousins: Jan (Ray) Lanier; Rhonna (Derick) Henderson; Charlie (Judy) Powell; Andy (Kim) Powell; Dinah Thomas; Cathy Hicks; and Lynn (Vaughn) Eldstrom.
