Jewell M. Conley

Mrs. Jewell M. Conley of 710 South Green Street Thomaston, died Wednesday February 16, 2011 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Jewell was the daughter of Will and Nellie McGill. She was born in Florence, Alabama on April 22, 1918. Jewell was married to the late J.W. Conley of Thomaston. She was a member of the Church of Christ, the United Daughters of the Confederacy and the Women's Business and Professional Club. She was also an owner of the Hotel Upson during the 1940's. She is survived by her four children Cheryl Conley Green Cone, Billy Conley, Byron and Bryan Conley. Jewell had eight grandchildren Jeffrey H. Green, M. Scott Green, Leanne Green Olson, Laura Conley Panos, Anson Conley, David Conley, Stephen Conley and Jay Conley and she also had five great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday February 18th, 2011 from 7:00 till 9:00 p.m. at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home with Funeral services Saturday February 19th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the South View Cemetery in Thomaston.
