Mrs. Carolyn (Boots) Jackson Burns, age 79, of 2068 Triune Mill Road, died Tuesday night in Regency Hospital in Macon. Funeral Services will be held Friday Afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home. Interment will be in Upson Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Burns was a native of Upson County. She had worked in both the canteen and the lab at the Thomaston Division of Thomaston Mills. She had also been a file clerk at the Sheriff’s Office and loved bingo and working in her yard. She was predeceased by her daughter Elaine Hooper. Mrs. Burns is survived by: 1 Daughter – Mrs. Lisa (Terry) Davidson, of Thomaston; 1 Son – Mr. Bill (Connie) Hooper, of Thomaston; 2 sisters - Mrs. Daisy Gentry, of Thomaston; and Mrs. Barbara Mathis, of Georgetown, Georgia; 2 Brothers – Mr. Frank Jarrell, of Pike County; and Mr. Jack Jarrell, of Thomaston; Grandchildren – Amy Davidson, Thomas Blount, Zandra Hooper, Dee Damon, Torrey Wall, and Erik Wall, all of Thomaston. 9 Great-Grandchildren also survive. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock Thursday Night.
