Betty Carroll Hanson

Mrs. Betty Carroll Hanson, age 64, of 2670 Vega Road, The Rock, died Monday Afternoon in Upson Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held Thursday Afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Mountain Gap Pentecostal Holiness Church. Interment will be in Crystal Hill Cemetery, with Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family may be contacted at the residence and will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 6 o'clock until 9 o'clock Wednesday Night. Mrs. Carroll was a native of Upson County. She was employed during her lifetime as a seamstress at the William Carter Col and a school cafeteria worker in Pike County. Mrs. Carroll was a member of Mountian Gap Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Hanson; parents, James Leonard Carroll and Eva Cooper Carroll; sister, Ruth Owsley, and brothers, James W. Carroll and Roy Arnold Carroll. Mrs. Carroll is survived by: 2 Daughtres - Mrs. Toye (Robbie) Garner and Mrs. Tina (James) Schmitt, both of Meansville; 1 Sisters - Mrs. Grace Chapman Hardeman, of Thomaston; Grandchildren -Justin Schmitt, of Thomaston; Chelsea Garner and Conner Garner, both of Meansville
