Coronavirus (COVID-19)

To the communities we serve:

Fletcher-Day Funeral Home has been actively monitoring the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) situation and we want to take a moment to update you on what we are doing and offer the latest guidance.

The health and safety of the families we serve is of the utmost importance. We are ready, willing and able to serve you at this time.

Practicing good hygiene is always important, so please wash your hands and use the hand sanitizer we provide at Fletcher-Day. We encourage you to practice the "elbow bump" and refrain from shaking hands. Please stay home if you are sick.

We understand that mourning a loved one is made easier by the closure that funeral services provide. For those who choose to stay home or are considered "at risk" of becoming ill and cannot attend a funeral, we have live-streaming capabilities and the ability to record funerals. Additionally, families find comfort in reading their loved one's online memorial wall on our website. If you cannot attend a funeral, this is another way to show your love and support.

Any specific questions can be answered by our funeral directors who have been in communication with the National Funeral Director's Association and Selected Independent Funeral Homes on best practices and guidelines to follow. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at (706) 647-6644 with any additional questions. We are here to serve you and will do so at the best of our ability.
